The new version of Chat GPT GPT 4 already launched on 14th March 2023 and many people think that the power of Chat GPT 4 is at least 100-500 times more than Chat GPT 3. But what is the difference between Chat GPT 3 and Chat GPT 4? First of all it is good to know that unfortunately, everyone can use Chat GPT 3 but not everyone can use GPT 4. GPT 4 can only be used by those who have purchased Chat GPT Plus Subscription. So not everyone will be able to experience the real difference between them.

Difference of power and perimeter:

This picture has been viral on social media since a few days ago where it is said that GPT 3 has been trended on data with parameter 175 billion i.e. 175 billion parameters and GPT 4 has been trended on data with 1-100 trillion parameters. Although the Exact Amount has not yet been told by Open AI, we will definitely know in the future.

It’s easier to fool Chat GPT-3

The makers of Chat GPT-4 have more time to experiment with algorithms to make it more difficult for users to fool the AI because it is the newest version of the program.

Many of the numerous different prompts that Chat GPT-4 has been trained on are harmful. Because of this, the most recent model is significantly better than the previous one at providing factual information and has far more sophisticated reasoning abilities.

Chat GPT-4 can process eight times more words than its predecessor:

Open AI claims that Chat GPT-4 can process up to 25,000 words at once, which is 8 times as many words than Chat GPT-3 could. It will be better able to handle larger documents as a result, which might greatly increase its efficiency in some work settings.

Also, Chat GPT-4 performs up to 16% better on typical machine learning benchmarks than Chat GPT-3 and is more capable of handling multilingual jobs than its predecessor, which should make it more approachable to non-English speakers.

Chat GPT-4 is less likely to respond to disallowed content:

The most recent version of Chat GPT, according to Open AI, is 40% more likely to produce truthful responses and 82% less likely to react to requests for content that is prohibited than Chat GPT-3.

Overall, users may feel safer using Chat GPT-4 as a result of the AI being much less likely to reply to harmful queries. There will still be occasional prompts that are missed because it is not 100% certain to provide factual responses or overlook prohibited stuff, but overall, utilizing it should provide a far more satisfying experience than using its predecessor.
